Meh,
The con was no AWA that's for damn sure. But on that same note it was far far greater than DragonCon could ever be (disgruntled over-price understaffed overcrowded con rant.) It had its moments such as the Iron Chef competition.
BTW: Chaosprojects is the current champion, defeating Sub Prodigy by a slim 50%-50% margin with the fan vote as tie breaker. The AMVs seemed to be a big draw, but the number of cosplay((ers?) What is the plural of cosplay anyway?) was pretty mind numbing. All in all I think it was put together much better than techwood was. And this year as opposed to techwood last year there was actually a noticeable registration desk (*shock*), as well as a vague listing of occurring events. However my biggest peeve was the dealer's room.... yeah. Why I wasted my time on that is beyond me. First off the vast majority of the con was located in the lobby of the Georgia Tech student center, but to get to the dealer's room you had to go the bottom floor, pass through the post office, beyond the random screen that seemed to be playing Ranma, onward through the mall, up yon other flight of stairs to a random hallway of slightly larger rooms, take a left, stop up the nose bleed, and your just about there. Issue 2 is once you have trekked that far you realize that there is next to NO anime in there. I could find a DVD one!! It had some nice wallscrolls and random action figures. The nice part was Manga was beyond plentiful! But who wants to edit to manga

For a 1st year con its turn out was spectacular! About on the level of previous Anime Express's. But it didn't seem that the con was big enough to fit all of those people. Maybe if they expanded further into the mall area past the post office it would be better, instead of that 3rd floor. I am going to push next year for a "Chaotic Bad Raptor" Room. Plus I will talk to some friend of mine that run local anime/vg/comic shops and see if we can get some more dealers with more to offer anime-wise. I am hoping to turn this con into the Georgia?s AE; a con with more of a cult following. I have high hopes for next year, and if they let us maybe AMV_4000 and I can run a whole room of AMVs (mini-vat) not just the IC and Onegai's random hour of doom.
We will be running another Iron Chef next year so anyone interested in taking on Chaos give me a jingle. Next year I have some pretty sweet ideas, and we need judges, this year we had some start-up editors we hit up on the spot (Thanx guys!

). All in all its not a bad con, surly it has much potential. I am looking forward to personally warping next years events to hopefully aid them in creating a greater con.
Thanx to Anime O-Tekku for allowing us to come run the Iron Chef competition
Thanx to all who attended, and hope to see more of you next year!
