I guess you'll be there Kitsunegurl?

See you there then.

There probably won't be many people on this board that can go. Maybe after this con, more people will join this site. Hopefully, there will be enough interest to hold an AMV contest next year.

They probably could do one this year, but I think they're doing the right thing by holding amv showings insteead of contests as an introduction to the hobby. Very certain there will be a contest next year, though I don't want to step on TJ's toes in that regard.

yeah, thats the idea. Looking toward next year.

We filled our room block, and there are rooms left in the hotel for anyone from the states/ca thinking about it.

Airline flights to Hawaii I've notced fluctuate as much as $120 regularly, so if you're interested, keep checking those sites, orbitz, hotwire, etc.

this year, there will be showings of some of the great amvs we've accumulated over the last 10 years. The only other AMV event is an introduction to making them hosted by me. very 101 stuff, nothing heavy.
