Well, this isn't too bad. We did need a cap, although it was fun to see Otakon grow and grow and grow by a lot of people each year.

But two weeks LATER...ugh. I have to get ready for college and everything, and I don't want to EVER miss an Otakon. But...I'll make it, just like I do every year.

Caps aren't so bad

Actually, it's better to have a cap than an understaffed madhouse (mad-der house?). And for those of us travelling from the Midwest to get there, pre-registration is pretty much a given. Taking Friday and Monday as vacation days for travel and then not getting in would be horrible.

I'll be attending this year. I already requested work off. lol Anyway it'll be my fourth year in a row and hopefully I'll be able to help out with the amv pannel again this year. It was a lot of fun with Vic and ANTDrakko. I'll probably will have a new amv this year for Otakon. Well I can't wait Otakon is 250 days away. Seems like an eternity.

I met someone at the con who said he knew Hitori (Fire something?), I wonder, has he shown up here?

the postponed date might work in my favor, as i'll probably be finished with whatever summer job i might find by then.

otakon does seem like a long ways off, yet i'm going to have to rush to meet the contest deadline.

I think you just want an excuse to get out of Iron Chef for fear of getting p0wned.

Seriously though, it's unfortunate if you can't attend. I wonder who will replace you in Iron Chef.

There's an Iron Chef at Otakon too?

Can I get involved with the Iron Chief Tournament?

I would like to participate in it assuming it doesn't run into the Skit we have planned.

Well, actually that was Quu's project and since he seems to be leaving the AMV contests world, I'm not sure if that will even happen at Otakon... Besides, I would love to do it and take you on (or out :P ), but I've got a commitment to Anime Evolution and I can't help it if Otakon decided to move onto the same weekend :(

As Vlad said, I believe this was Quu's project and he chose for Vlad to be the "Iron Chef," but he can't make it so I have no idea who is taking his place against Senta.

Vlad, trust me, you're getting off lucky not having to edit in front of a crowd. Senta on the otherhand...:P.

Anyway, before there is any decision about me not being there, we will see if the event even takes place now...
