What are you and Ian doing? (I only know about the AMV stuff as far as pannels go)

1:00 - 2:00 pm on Saturday - The Fairy Tales of Hayao Miazaki
9:00 - 10:00 am on Sunday - Retro Anime

All are full multimedia panels with stills, video, AMVs. etc. The Retro Anime is a lot of fun, humorous and includes some unique and rare stuff

Which panel room are you guys in? We've got Panel 1 for "I Can't Believe You Haven't Seen That" at 10AM.

It looks like Otakon booked two very similar panels one right after another...

There's a scary image: a fangirl with a real gun.

Yes, yes it is. I'll have to look for that one. This is my first Otakon, and I want to make it to a couple of the AMV panels. The panels at ACen were great. For Otakon, I'll be the Yui Ikari running around with a fishing net to catch Gendo's with. :)

Awww....

Well, I kinda gave a friend the Platform shoes with the fish in them, and I really didn't like how I looked in the costume. Plus I find that most people don't like Gendo with a white pimp suit.

Here is a pic if you are curious. http://westware.8m.com/CONREP/Otakon/2003/pics/pimp_gendo.jpg
I messed up the beard when I was shaving so I was forced to go with teh goatee.

My friend Alex looked way better with my hat and cain http://www.thefurryone.net/anime/otakon03/slip3.jpg
Blurry pic but you get the jist

Oh well, I'll prolly be too busy with AMV contest stuff to have time to cosplay any how.[/url]

LOL!
And here I thought Happyness was a Giant Mecha with two catgirls in the back seat. I now see that I was incorrect...

hehe Yep, you were wrong. Course maybe that brings happiness to you, so that's your opinion. ^_^ I can't wait to see the AMV contest and winners for Otakon. I saw the Katsu one and it was really good. (I hope some people premiere a Gendo themed one! :D )
