Anime Boston 2004 was awesome, but AMV Iron Chef needed work

It was not a serious panel; we were amazed that there were more than five people at the start and more than five at the end. Last I checked, we (those involved who started the panel) were all less than 22, so you can't expect expert planning or quality.

Last I heard, Quu did offer to help, but was denied. It's not a lack of interest on his part and more of a lack of interest on Anime Boston's part. I also heard there were a lot of complaints too, but I wasn't there and have just heard things, so perhaps they're wrong. I do have a tendency to believe jbone though.

I never heard a thing about Quu being asked. We (DOkool, Otakuforlife, myself) acknowledge the fact that it could have gone better (especially Sunday), but it WAS badly planned at the last minute and we didn't expect people to show up. Apparently people either loved it or hated it, no inbetweens. However, it was blantently obvious that we were clueless on how to run it. Once again, we are planning to do it next year, but with planning and (hopefully) a clue on what we are doing.

I was there at Anime Boston 2004, excellent, I was there to see the AMV contest 2 twice, it rocks. All of em were good, some better, and others very disturbing, like the YMCA one.

Hey, it was fun. At least on Friday, anyway. On Sunday, it was honesly more the audience's fault than anything, and the fact that the judges had no clue at all what the hell was going on.

Next year, however, will be planned, and it will kick ass. So, yeah, I'm assuming I'm still in on this. XD

Awesome! Brian says "Hi!" Of course you are on the panel, Alucard. Hehe. But here's the question: I'm cosplaying as Paladin Anderson, but should I dress up as Chairman Kargo? An apron with CD-Rs would be funny

( Anime Next discusstion) -- Sorry about OT

So, you're staff. Interesting....free admission... Kidding; don't kill me.
Well, I was going to go anyways, but, since people I know are going
besides me, and now Bob. That makes it a hell of a lot better, besides I
wanted Lisa Ortizs autograph for a while.

I can assure you that Anime Boston 2004 never heard from Quu.

OK... Well we're calling it Iron Editor anyways, so I guess it doesn't matter. You know, being completely different from Iron Chef and all (you know, that heckling). "You must have iron will to be an Iron Editor" (r).
