I really enjoyed AWA this year. I got to watch the premiere of the documentary "Otaku Unite", the Disney Rave DDR Project (which would've been really great if they didn't have technical problems with the DVD player), as well as the NES Project (which I worked on). I also got to meet some other AMV creators in person...

AWA Rawked.

... But the best part was LadyDX's assorted Vash poses.

Oh... And "Er... That Darn Macintosh Computer!" As well as ErMaC running up to Phade to donate a dollar, and "The VAT's broken!"

I think it's on at least Will's discs, possibly Tim's (checks) Yup, it's on Tim's disc as well.

BTW, nice page for the discs, Tim.

Tim compiled the final thing and gave me a copy at AWA, so it's not on my disc. Gomen.

Hell yeah! NES project all the way.
But what could have been so important that you had to miss the whole con?

Money.

That's why God invented panhandling.

Seriously though. Surely you can get some buddy passes, if not I'm sure I could; $50 round trip, not a bad deal. If you need a place to stay mine is always open. Granted it's an hour from the con, but don't complain...
What free?
Freee?
Then just take into account food and dealer room money (DVD/Manga/Wallscroll, all necessities). Now you have no excuses next year.

And school!

Hey, since when should this be a factor? I'm taking exams for three days straight in make-ups since I skipped out on a few of them in order to get there this year. Not only that, but since I was at a con I now have to do a lot of makeup homework and all of it on a sum of 20 hours of sleep within five days.

Now THAT'S devotion.

No, that's only the description page. Sorry. (If there was a "play video" link, that was a big mistake. ^_^; )

I made the MPEG-2 version (and VCD backup, which was 100MB) two days before the con, I think. No time to make something DivX-like.

BTW, nice page for the discs, Tim.

Thanks! :) (It'll go into the distro at some point... ^_^; )

AWA was absolutely fantastic this year. It was wonderful to see and talk to everyone again, and the contests and panels were all run incredibly well. All of it was just top notch, from everything to the hotel (which was stunning) down to the mall food court we dined in (which was breathtaking..... truly the Chic-Filett of kings  ), it was all just a complete blast.

I would like to send a special "thank you" to MC Wagner, Quu and the rest of the AWA staff for making it such a great con. Without you guys and all of your hard work, I don't think there would be an AWA.

Anyway, I hope to see all of you again next year, and most of you sooner next Jacon.

Now..... must.... sleep.

I don't think my name needs to appear before Quu's when handing out thanks. :P, yes I busted ass during the show too, but I didn't have nearly the pre-show workload he did, or Matt.

this year was Red's first year with us too. Proved a good deal of stable help.

as for the rest of us, we are now returning. . . .
