Lenox Square Mall is cool...if you're already in the area. The sad part is the coolest "to do" things in Atlanta include things like the Coca Cola building :P

I could just see an AMV pick up run to the Varsity. Two or three of us show up, order enough grease laden food for 30 people, and then we pray we don't get into an accident on the way back to the hotel. Why? You crash a car and make sparks with that much flameable grease in the back seat and see how long you live.

All this talk about the Varsity... IMO it's a tad far. I'm not much for that. Not to mention the four to five (or more) cars back to back down I-75 hoping to get there in tact. Ruby's not that bad - except for the price. I'm guessing that the Wendy's and McDonald's might run outta food like BK did at Otakon last year since they're the closest. Lenox.... that's getting far too. Maybe a place down on Tara Blvd in Jonesboro/Morrow :?: We could take the highway or just conservetively drive down Riverdale Rd, through Vallyhill, and then hit Tara. HAHA. That would never work... lol. Too much damn traffic.

If I recall correctly, the OK Cafe is pretty good, and not too far from the airport. It's to be avoided Sundays, though, since people seem to flood there after church.

I think the Varsity thing was a joke. (It's nast.)

Yeah, it's a pretty good place. Exit 255 on I-75.

I think the Varsity was a joke too. Riverdale is close but busy. Hwy 314 (leads to Fayetteville) is a little bit longer drive but less busy. All we really need is one or two organized gatherings at or near the hotel and food pick up could be arrange before hand.

Yeah, let's drive an extra 15-20 miles through the worst traffic in the city to an area which has both the highest sales tax rate and the most over priced resturants and mall in the state :P

of course... Fogo De Chou is in buckhead

That would probably be preferred by those stuck with Ruby Tuesdays/hotel resturant food all weekend. It would also make for a cute clip in the AWA Doc.

Aww come on, Ruby Tuesday's isn't that... ok, yeah, it can be that bad sometimes. Beats The Varsity by a damn sight though.

There's also a couple Cheesecake Factory restaraunts you might want to check out. One's in Buckhead, the other near Perimeter Mall on the other end of thown. It can be a wait to get in, but the cheesecake is pretty damn good.

I really don't know about the area around the hotel though. Don't travel around there as much. Though (forgive me if this was stated earlier) Southlake Mall is relatively nearby via car if you travel south on I-75. Lots of good eateries in and around the mall.

The Varsity!! Image

I remember people telling me how good Varsity Dogs were. There must have been something wrong with mine then.
