This is the first year I felt I could afford to go to a con out of the New England area and I've had a 60K+ job for 2 years... I guess I've been doing it wrong. :uhoh:

Yeah aside from the general wane in AMV interest among the old crew I think the economy has probably nailed down a lot of peoples plans before they could take flight.

If only you could rekindle the magic from a few years ago.

I miss the Texas crew too. It was so different in 2007 without them. :(

Apparently, that is a 9 day 6 hour trip....so both ways plus the con would take up about 3 weeks. :P
