Project OrgEditor [Round 3 : 7-7-7] [Judging!]

Postby CodeZTM » Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:22 am

Round 3 : "777"

Theme Explanation

Congratulations on making it through the previous round. You've told an excellent after story, and I feel like you've mastered the art of storytelling! Well, most of you anyway. |:>

I digress. Now I want to see how well you can capture mankind's best and worst features.

Round Framework wrote:For the third round of competition, you must create an AMV that symbolizes or reflects one of the seven deadly sins, or one of the seven heavenly virtues. It does not matter how you show these sins/virtues in your AMV. Please be as creative as you want.

You are free to choose one of fourteen possible choices:

Lust
Gluttony
Greed
Sloth
Wrath
Envy
Pride
____
Faith
Hope
Charity
Fortitude
Justice
Temperance
Prudence

Theme Execution Criteria

Each round, 30 points of your possible scores are awarded to the execution of the theme. What does this mean for this round?

Editors will be awarded more points for how well they displayed their particular sin/virtue. So it should be obvious which sin/virtue you are attempting, and you should try to show it in a creative/innovative way.

Example Video:This video would serve as a means of displaying lust.

Elimination Numbers

For this round, we will eliminate 2 editors.

Should 2 or more editors drop in this round, we will adjust the number of eliminations.

Should less than 2 editors drop, we will only eliminate the number of competitors that make up the difference. [For example, if 1 editor dropped, we will only eliminate 1 editor]

Special Instructions

1) No anime restrictions. Live action and non-anime animation is permitted.
2) No audio restrictions.
3) I will personally send you FTP information as soon as it is updated.
4) Deadline is June 26th at 11:59 PM Central Time. Judging will begin on June 27th and run through June 28th. Results will be posted when all judging is complete, or on June 28th, whichever comes first.

Code, where the hell did you take the 7 virtues? I kinda miss stuff like "Diligence" there (which should be the opposite of Sloth) and others as well |:

I might forward you to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_dead ... en_Virtues

I know there are mild differences based upon which religion defines them, but I more or less found a website on teh topic, and those looked the best to me.

But they're all very similar to a certain degree, so if you want to use the list from Wikipedia, that's equally fine. So long as somewhere where they say "this is a list of seven heavenly virtues" and you can link it to me, you're cool. |:>
