The songs were chosen beforehand but were they assigned to specific rounds beforehand? I'd like to think Brad wouldn't knowingly give an editor the same song they already worked with.

The songs were chosen beforehand but were they assigned to specific rounds beforehand? I'd like to think Brad wouldn't knowingly give an editor the same song they already worked with.

I did assign the songs randomly before the brackets were full. I can say that at that point, nobody had a chance of ending up with a song from their own video.

Now, I WILL say that I CANNOT confirm that you won't get a song you may have used on your own for some other project. I'm only talking about it from the context of them being the original creator of the "well known" video (if that makes sense).

For example, I think in IC3, a few people had said that they had edited with "This Is Your Life" (from "This is DBZ Life") before, but I was only considering Scott Melzer as the original creator, and he wasn't in the tournament.
