So Match 6 just wrapped up. Just waiting to be judged now.

I would like to let people know what we have 2 new substitutes. I had contacted both Shui and Vaso a few days ago and haven't heard anything. So, our 2 new alternates are...

*drumroll*.......

Pinkie Pie & DokiDoki :O

Brad, the Calender is quite confusing I must say...
there are multiple entries for the same match on different dates :?

If I'm not mistaken, all entries listed as "prep" are when the two contestants meet 24 hours before their match to provide their sources to Brad.

Heh well, I wasn't ever planning on making the Google Calendar public. I was making it for my own personal use, but I was asked to make it public by... somebody I don't remember. So yeah, it's gonna look a little cluttered, but it works for me :o And yes, as Nya and Nicho pointed out, where it says "prep" that means that it's when I'm supposed to be running source selection with people 24 hours before the match.

That's fine. Give me a specific time.

Well, ya know how I just made that post last night about the new alternates? Well, I'm changing it up again...

Seems like Ying (Pinkie Pie) doesn't actually have the free time he thought he did. So, I finally got in touch with Shui, and he is now officially in. He should be editing his video against Mamo (who did his like, last Sunday) sometime this weekend.

Still waiting on one vote for Match 6. Obviously, it's quite a close one.

Music genres are dumb.

Well, the alternates and flag corrections change the oddball notes list a bit.

The USA still has 14 head-to-head matches this round, though they're slightly different. There are also three guaranteed head-to-head matches for Round 2 (Matches 50, 54, and 62).

There are still five sole representatives in the bracket, but again slightly different: Starsy7 (Mexico), Otohiko (USSR), Shui (Switzerland), Janzki (Finland), and dokool (Japan).

Germany is down to four entrants, but still has at least one editor in each bracket, though with Cenit's loss, an all-German final can't happen. The only possible head-to-head match between Germans before the finals is Match 93 (Noss/Lapskaus).

The only nations that can still sweep all three finals spots are the USA and Canada.

Can sweep. That means fill all slots, as in have enough people that are still in the tournament at all to actually fill all 3.

Csak ez a két nemzet képviselteti magát mind 3 csoportban. A többi ország vagy 1 vagy csak 2 csoportban vesz részt, mint pl mi.
