The Gendo Ikari Award (Editor of the Year)

This award is for the editor whose entire body of work throughout the year has been of a consistently high standard and worthy of praise - someone who should be awarded not just for a single shining video, but instead for producing great videos all year long.
Website Administrator, AnimeMusicVideos.Org
Samurai Warriors Productions
Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society Events - AMV Department Head
Middle Tennessee Anime Convention - Main Events Operations Manager

I see only two worthy candidates this year:

Ileia
Many great AMVs this year and absolute dominance in project editor.

Cross/fade
This guy is living proof that you don't need tons of effects to make a great AMV.

I seriously think Kain-x-Spirits deserves this award. Kain has released 9 single-videos and taken part in 9 collaborative videos (some he coordinated himself). And now you'd think "heck, anyone can make a lot of videos and upload them, it's not that hard..." But check them out, they are, in their own right, of high avg. quality, sure some are "bigger" and more advance projects than the others but this is the editor that have given me the most number of enjoyable videos over the year of 2010.

My vote goes to Kain-x-Spirits, for sure.
Recommended videos:
Pandemonium
Fear And Doubts
Outer Space
Out of Control

This.
Kain has released a lot of projects this year and he always trying new styles. He is also consistent in the quality of his releases. He has made some of my favourite videos and I think that he deserves this award most. To me at least, he has improved so much in such a short space of time that he deserves this award. So yeah, my vote is also for Kain.
