would need to be changed to

Actually as a matter of fact I would wonder how impossible it would be to rename all of the awards to have much more interesting and fun names.

For example, the boring, uninspired, and drab "Best Fun"
could be renamed to the far more exciting and impressive "The Convivial award for Mirthful Merriment."

While certain categories would be really fun...have you thought about judging them? With the best "Other" category, you can at least attempt to pull it off due to the fact that it's got a category marker in the vid description.

But something like "Best Mindfuck" or "Most Perverted"....while, yes...we do go through and nominate each video to each category...there is a lot to take into account here...

1. You think certain people won't just select their bestest buddies video because they can? Even though it has nothing to do with the category?

2. Subjective opinion. While some moron may claim that watching Ichigo from Bleach turn into his hollow form or whatever the shit that's called is the biggest mindfuck in the world, you KNOW that people would be debating that shit to the very end >.>

3. I think we've all seen instances of videos not fitting the category winning...I'm too damn lazy to look up the year/video, but I distinctly remember people bitching and moaning about a video with effects winning the "No Effects" category. God knows there are more examples but as I said, I'm lazy.

So while certain categories would be good times...keep in mind, the voting process. Provide a valid argument on how that aspect would go and I think we'll be in business

(This of course is for people who actually WANT their category and aren't spouting of the first random bullshit that comes to mind If you are one of the bullshit people...carry on )
