Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

My opinion on a beta-test subforum is that only a small number of people will ever use it and even more likely, no one will actually watch the videos and comment on them.

You misunderstood what I said. I for one personally don't like going on the chat. And if everyone liked going on the chat, I'm sure there would be a lot more users on the chat (not saying there already isn't a lot). Secondly, I never said that someone would never ever have time to join the chat. But they might be going on vacation or might be too busy to stay online for prolonged amounts of time at once.

but... but... but we got FACEBOOK!!!

and you are missing the point..., indeed there are a lot of ways for people to comment and for you get feedback, but they are not obligated to give you any opinion, like this forum, streaming sites or your friends.

as always, everything falls more in the willingness of the community more than in features or subforum of the org, as I mean in the beggining this redisign is not so much about adding things, is more to make them simple, attractive and functional.

if you don't want it to be dead then start a convo, I know that most of the regulars there just sit and wait for the convos to start O:

you people are ridiculous. the only reason i've heard for not making this stupid beta section is that it isn't necessary. For fuck's sake, why don't we just take out the donator's forum, since that's where all the unnecessary shit is, or even just everything BUT the announcement forum...no, i got it, LET'S DO AWAY WITH THE FORUM!

i think a section for betas would ENCOURAGE beta sharing, which would ENCOURAGE communication, connection, friendship, better editing, and activity, everything that outsiders say we lack.

the irc is unattractive to some people (including me) but for those of you that LIKE the irc, we can KEEP IT!

i agree, it's pretty unnecessary, at least for me, since i have a circle of friends who are always happy to beta test, it might be unnecessary for most everybody, but for some it might be somewhat slightly a little bit COOL or something. I would use it at least, and it would clean up the OP section

this is the least "threatening" idea for this site that I've ever seen argued over. you guys make all these threads about "The Org Redesign" but hardly any of you are willing to make even the most minute changes or additions.

This website will stay the same until WMG puts the final nail in its coffin.

The point is to figure out whats wrong and fix it, not add more stuff without actually figuring out what the problem is. If there are reasons why people don't use the irc chatroom that can be fixed, lets look into fixing them. I could care less if there was a beta forum or not but just adding one without discussing what's wrong with what we already have is counter intuitive.

Gote i <3 u

Pretty much summed it up right there.

@JaddziaDax
I've tried, no one talks.

I just think it's pretty stupid overall.

I said it a billion times already...THERE ISN'T ENOUGH INTERACTION (imo) BETWEEN EDITORS ON THE FORUM. That's the problem.
