If you could create your own anime series, what would it be about? Genre? Relationships? Preferable animation company? Be as detailed or as brief as you want. :book:

I'll go first.

TALES OF LEODICIA
(Apparently another "Tales" spinoff, but still...)

Hero: Kyle Miguel [Staff Fighter] Age: 16
Heroine: Katelyn De La Vega [Princess] Age: 16

Plot: Runaway princess (Kate) and her friend Neil Montevallo get caught in a storm. Kate literally washes up on a shore on "The Western Continent" of my fantasy world one night. Kyle, a farm boy, finds her and rushes her back to his house. He, his mom, and sister, and his pet white fox (named Kenine) set out to reunite her to her friend, Neil. Along the way, they run into peaceful and friendly villages and towns on their continent. But as they do, the douche bag King Dante De La Vega (and sarcastic-as-hell queen Serene) sends the elite trio "Triton" outside the royal city (located on "The EASTERN Continent") to capture her. Just as Kyle and his caravan r find Neil and Kyle finds out that Kate is royalty. As they travel through "The Eastern Continent", they see towns that are completely different to the nice towns on "The Western Continent". The reason is because the douche bags in the city of...
Spoiler :
LEODICIA! OMG! OMG! OMG!

are greedy bastards and left the entire continent in poverty. With a firm resolve, and a few newly-made friends along the way, Kyle returns both Neil and Kate to the city and kicks the douche bags' asses.

Oh, and Kate admits her love to Kyle, blah blah blah blah, Rainbows. :D

What do you guys think? Or should I have not posted this at all?

Why lie, I'd just adapt my favorite RPGs (FFVII, IX, X, XII, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Breath of Fire IV, Xenogears, Kingdom Hearts I, CoM, II, Lunar: Silver Star Story, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue) into animes. :awesome:

x2.

I wouldn't want to make my own anime though (maybe my own story, but not anime). I'll leave that to other people. It's more exciting that way, at least for me.

I'd just want Taimanin Asagi to be released uncensored.

I actually AM creating my own anime right now. I'm currently in the screenplay process, and I have a first draft finished. I will be starting previs and concept art soon. My hopeful goal is to have voice recording done towards the end of the year. The film will be created entirely by myself with the exception of the voice actors and the score. It will be a 3DCG animated film, with a visual style that relies heavily on 2D hand drawn texturing. Currently the script is clocking in between 45 and 60 minutes, so it will more than likely be feature length.

AKAISHIRAI (working title)

Main Characters:
Kozue Hayashi - Age 21. Resident of the small town of Akaishirai. Raised by her grandfather after her parents were killed in an accident. Attends Akaishirai University, majoring in history.

Tsuneo Ito - Age 23. Graduate student in Botany attending Akaishirai University. Lives alone, has a rather boring life for the most part.

Plot: Tsuneo has been living in Akaishirai for the last 3 months. He finds the small town boring and too quiet for his tastes, despite not really getting out much. As his first semester there comes to an end, he has a strange experience while working his job. He experiences a bizzare appirition which approaches him, but then disappears. From this point on, he starts to notice that things are not what they seem in Akaishirai. A string of incidents plague him, from more sightings of bizzare things to a very disturbing news report. He starts to think he's going crazy. He then happens to meet Kozue, who is very guarded and seems to be quite paranoid about the goings on in the town. She confirms that he is not crazy, but that something very sinister is happening. Only the two of them seem to be unaffected by the lethargy that grips the rest of the populace. Kozue's knowledge of past historical events, including mass dissapearances, grisly murders, and legends of demons living in and around the town pull the two into a spiraling series of events that will lead them to the ultimate horrific truth about Akaishirai.

And now that I read that synopsis, it seems woefully inadequate of describing what I have going on, but I don't want to give anything away either :P So yeah, horror movie. I have scripts for several other things I would like to try, but I decided to go with my horror story first because of marketing research. People respond well to horror. Just look at the video store horror section. Besides, I'm tired of "jump" or gore horror films, those are just cheap tricks. This will be my attempt at a well-rounded mindfuck.

Anyway, if I did my own original work, I'd want to do a story regarding a kid that does absolutely nothing all his life, has zero friends and grades in the toilet [but still a nice kid] and inherits a fortune from an old man that he saves from a gang of thugs. After inheriting the fortune, EVERYBODY wants to be his friend, and all the girls are all over him [a few guys too. :ying: ]. So now the kid spends the entire anime learning how to interact with humans [all he's ever known is books], and dealing with the fact that he's rich beyond his wildest dreams.

Hopefully I won't disappoint. I still have a ways to go before I can even show some artwork and stuff, but all in good time. I intend to have a sortof worklog thread here, even though it's not really an AMV, I should be able to maintain a thread in general anime. Gotta start getting people interested to eventually buy my DVD ;p

Frankly, if someone animated my daily life, it would be akin to Azumanga or Lucky Star.

I'd like it to be like Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I'd like a series where a real human gets trapped inside the anime world. And they end up interacting with a variety of well known anime series.

I'd make it so that many well known anime personalities would act differently than the way we remembered them.

who said IF you can create? I AM going to create my own anime. I have already..! no but seriously, the anime Im working on is going to be a manga, as of now it's a dramatic/action/paranormal type manga, not a lot of characters, plenty of demons, angels, and the occasional heart-break too. when it's finished, Im going to show it off at Comiket.. and that's not a dream!

I do have a 'DREAM Anime'I would like to create when I could which I have dubbed the project 'Clockwork Wielder' (still thinking of a better name). I want it to be a story which doesn't focus too heavily on a set of characters but the universe itself. 'Clockwork Wielders' (CwW) are the names given to certain people who have extraordinary if not, invincible powers. They have the power to manipulate the borders of what keeps any manner of object or being together which allows for very creative use of the ability. They are given their names through the weapons they are rumoured to have that are so intricate like the inner workings of a clock. CwWs have a primal instinct to fight each other whenver another crosses paths. Their fights cause catastrophic damage to anything nearby due to their weapons resonance. To suppress this urge, they do their favourite hobbies like listening to music, singing, drawing, or just being a smart ass (notion of one of the characters). This is the basis and various different stories shall take place which can be decided by either me or anyone who is interested.
I do all the right things for all the wrong reasons.

Hmm...

How about "Paradoxols". Just remember what it would sound like if it was said with the Nihongo accent. "Kurakku Uierudaasu" sounds...uh...
"Paradakusoru" shounds pretty kuu.
