For the vampire fans and generally violent bloody anime, you might consider the current new series Dance in the Vampire Bund. But keep in mind, the feature character might cause you some viewing difficulties.

If you like Watching these Genres - Comedy, Romance & Slice of life. You should watch these 2 Anime's:
1. Kaichou Wa Maid Sama!.
2. Bakuman.
They Both are 2010's Must Watch Anime's IMHO. ( ^ __ ^ )
Also Try to watch this Anime - Fairy Tail. XD

Someone suggested Wicked city and I agree: it's an older Anime a lot like Ninja scroll though it's more perverted.
Another Anime I associate with those is something like Berserk. Very bloody (though fantasy). Otherwise you should have a lot of good suggestions from this thread. C:
