Adult Swim New Anime - Seirei no Moribito

I have heard of this anime, but no one ever told me anything good enough about it to convince me to watch it.
Apparently though, its good enough for American broadcast.

Can someone who has actually seen it clarify if it really deserves this attention?

Anime> Adult swim> 4kids.

Meh. I might watch.

Ehh, for now it beats watching it on the computer. My back hurts. =/
And you never know, it could be good. Plus it's not like they're taking out blood or anything. :P

North American tv (even adult swim) is to me the same as watching amvs on Mytube.

The wrong way.

I don't give a shit if they term it adult swim as if that means they won't be editing and butchering and beating the crap out of a good anime.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

its an AWESOME anime, though slow in the middle, it has good characters as well as seeing them grow throughout the series and a linear story which i found compelling, one of the better 2007 shows.

i watched around the first half dozen episodes a while back, it seemed like a decent series, good animation, interesting story, decent characters, however i got into the mood for comedies (something it doesnt have much of) so i stopped watching it, might pick it up later.

it's a well made series, i'll give it that, just didnt really grab me like some series do

I've missed most of the first half. Did I miss anything important?
What I got so far is what seems to be the main character saves the son of a queen, things get complicated, and now the boy follows the supposdly main character, who seems to be a mix between Motoko and Saya
It's an awesome show so far. Or at least from the 15-20 minutes I got from it. Can't wait for the next episode.

I hate it when the put stuff so late that even if you can, you don't feel like watching it.

Anyway, let's hear it for Tivo. =D

Hmm... Seems having a cable service provider that's 4 time zones ahead does have it's perks. When it comes to [adult swim] anyways.

I'd never heard about it before last night, but figured it was worth a watch. Although it's hard to gauge a series based solely on the first episode it seemed like it could be pretty good.

Popular description

"Once every 100 years, a Water Fairy implants an egg into a person who then becomes the Guardian of Fairies. This time, the responsibility falls on Chagumu, the second prince of the New Yogo Kingdom.

Chagumu's life isn't easy. The king finds Chagumu an inconvenience and attempts to have him killed. As a result, the queen asks a female guard, Valsa, to protect Chagumu. In addition to this, beings from another world, known as Nayugu, constantly attack him in order to eat the egg carried in Chagumu's body."

The genres don't list schoolgirls anywhere though so it seems unlikely to be a priority for me :)
This 26 ep show is easy to find as a 1-26 torrent though, for anyone that really wants to watch it.
