3 years later she marries inuyasha <- Kagome calling Sessou onii-san isn't enough to assume this. So that is the only mistake.

When I read that page I thought it was a cover up so she can go to the other world and not cast suspicions on her disappearance =P Like her 'sickness' throughout the series. But hmm together with 'onii-san' I guess it makes sense. Okay so they got married.

lol I second that. :| I have too much stuff going on to like read manga. I barely have time for anime. xD I think it would be awesome if they continued the anime though instead of leaving it like that. I'd love to see the actual manga ending animated ;0

ok, brief summary of the end (WARNING! SPOILERS)

naraku dies, the sacred jewel dissapears forever, kagome finishes school and 3 years later she marries inuyasha (even annoys seshomaru by calling him oni-san), rin is trying to learn to live in human society while seshomaru watches over her, miroku and sango are married with 3 kids, shippo is just being shippo, they all live happily ever after, think i covered just about all of it

Ayame was an anime-only character, so no, she's not mentioned in the manga.

After Kouga was written out of the manga when Kikyou died, there's been no mention of him since. The ending of the manga doesn't change this, so no, he's not mentioned.

The ending basically suggests that those who were involved in the final battle are now pretty much bound together as companions forever - Inuyasha's group and Sesshoumaru's group, basically, along with Toutousai and Myouga, and also Kaede and Kaede's village.

Kouga appears to have no part to play in this future - which does make sense, because when the the shards were taken away, and the fact that Kagome would never leave Inuyasha for another man, Kouga's fate lay in a direction that had nothing to do with the others - with the living members of his tribe. Everyone else though (Inuyasha's group and Sesshoumaru's group) seem to now have an inescapable fate - their futures will all affect each other in some way, although we're left to imagine what those futures may be (Kagome merely states that everyone's futures will continue to gradually develop).

Everyone's future seems bound to Kaede's village in some way by the end of the manga. The sole exception to this is Kohaku, since even Sesshoumaru's fate has now become linked to the village.

The status of Inuyasha and Kagome as a married couple by the end of the manga is debatable, although it's made clear that marriage is definitely their fate - Souta made it clear she left to get married, and the kanji used for "onii-san" is "brother-in-law" rather than "brother". As a result, their marriage is definitely a done deal, no matter whether they've physically married at the end of the manga, or whether the marriage occurs shortly after the manga has ended (it's pretty much left up to fans to decide how quickly they got married).
