That damn dude with the D20

Hey,

I love the AMV by Itiv Studios, "Shounen Bushidou" but theres one part in the video that bugs the hell out me.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=38535

4 minutes and 37 seconds into the video theres a guy holding a D20 [a twenty sided die]. I really wanna see that anime that the character is from because I'm a D&D nerd but I can't figure out which it is based off of the scene. Can anyone tell me?

Thanks, Buyo

Mebbe I'll watch it again tomorrow (it's on a DVD I have lent to someone), but is it a guy with weird triangular hair? If so it's the one of the Millennium thingies from Yu-gi-oh (seem to remember one looking like a d20), which would make the character Yami Yugi. But this is from memory...

haha, no, I know Yu-Gi-Oh characters when I see them, this guy was wayyyy to normal and the d20 was of a normal size.

Thanks tho.

hey, I just watched the amv and the guy holding the die is from the anime Hunter X Hunter, Greed Island OVA, so it's well into the anime before you see him. It's a good anime and I totally recommend it to anyone. It may be a little slow at first but it'll pick up. Also, the d20 he's holding doesn't actually come from D&D, nor is he "normal" hahaha

I never said he was "normal" I said he was "normal in comparsion to Yu-Gi-Oh characters" :D

Thanks, I owe you one. I watched Hunter X Hunter and the first OVA set but never got around to Greed Island. Obviously I need to pick it up again.

Thanks Again, Buyo

Heh, I always figured it was Hunter x Hunter, but I never got around to checking for sure. Good to know.
