I found no other trouble with the sequence otherwise.

Other than Koizumi being in an episode long before he's introduced officially.......

When I first watched it, I thought 'wtf, who is that?'

Makes one wonder though, if they broadcast it in one order, and the dvds have it in an other order, what was the point of the broadcast disorder?

ep 11 is about them making a movie. You don't even know the people in the series if you watch this first. You're left to wonder, "what were crap have I talked myself into watching".

And it's possibly apparent you are watching people making a film, but, the first 3 episodes following it, explain the series more or less. And one is left to continue to wonder what the heck was the point of ep 00?

Eventually you get to ep 10, and then ep 00 as ep 11 makes sense.

My son was certain I had to watch it in a specific order, but really, all one needs to be told, is if you have the dvds, watch ep 00 later. consider the second file on the first dvd, the actual series beginning.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Partially, it's because it really doesn't make sense to put what's chronologically episode 6 anywhere other than the end of the series, seeing as how it's the big climax and all that. If there's more episodes after it, it loses impact.

Other than that, I found the out-of-order episodes were still good enough to watch even despite not knowing all the characters yet, and it makes you want to go back afterwards and see what you missed the first time, kind of like Boogiepop Phantom. They also kind of hint here and there about just how dramatic the main story arc is going to get, like what Itsuki says about the baseball game in episode 4 (broadcast order), leaving you wanting an explanation, which they don't fail to deliver on in due time.

Now why the good people at Kadokawa couldn't release the DVDs in broadcast order for the Japanese market, I don't know.

Tarentino-esque gimmick plain and simple.
