A quick question about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...

Postby devilmaykickass » Wed Sep 12, 2007 11:49 pm

Do I watch the episodes according to the number Kyon tells me the next episode is, or according to the number Haruhi tells me the next episode is?

I'm on episode three and I'm very confused.

I watched it in chronological order (because I read the light novel before I watched the anime)

Anyway, the ending for the broadcast order is more appropriate I guess, but if you notice the small things, some stuff seems out of place because it happened before but is shown after.

I actually watched it in chronological order first, and then went back and watched the actual broadcast, and for me, the broadcast order is far better.

I think you mean it the other way around. :P

And I would also recommend watching it in Haruhi (broadcast order). It's slightly confusing at first, but it's worth it, especially for the way it ends (chronologically the end wouldn't be as good).

Ep 00, which likely should be ep 11, was the only out of sync show to my knowledge.

I found no other trouble with the sequence otherwise.

I have never heard of an anime where it has two "orders".

Might be worth checking it out.

It is funny though, right? I tend to get into an anime easier if it's fun and funny.
