It is, and Inuyasha was on last night... I didn't watch it, though. ^_^

Well the dub sucks I hate to say that but it does. I Liked the ranma dub because I didn't know any better only after watching some it subbed did I realize how bad Viz butchered it. But the Inu yasha dub is unforgivable mainly because Kagome only has a tolerable voice and Kaede is talking like a european from the middle ages.

I agree that Kaede is bad, but I like Richard Ian Cox, even if he doesn't fit Inuyasha. Anyway, if the dub is so bad, who would YOU like to see replace them? Honestly, I don't know many voice actors, but who else better does Ocean Group have?

Besides, the only really AWFUL voices in the dub are Kaede (WTF is up with that mideival accent?), The guy that controls the Onis, Kikyou (her voice is too deep) and that's about it.

I just noticed Kaede's medival thing. She uses "ye" a lot, but that doesn't make sense if the equivalent of "ye" in Japanese wasn't used in the feudal era. Was it? Also, that could be in the script, in which case she probably can't do anything about it.

I like Kikyo's voice, I thought it sounded good deep, but I haven't heard the Japanese seiyuu so I can't really talk. By the way, I think spelling it with or without the u is ok. Like Ryoga vs Ryouga.

Paul Dobson, voice of Miroku and Naraku also voices Howdy in Hamtaro, Happosai in Ranma 1/2, and loads of other things. http://us.imdb.com/Name?Dobson,+Paul+(I)

This is a problem I have been struggling with since I saw the fandubs. The thing is, they arent saying a special word for you, they were using a special word for "to be" or "is" that was used long ago but has been replaced of late. The funny thing about this is that everybody except for kagome (and saito and kagomes mom and grandfather) use. Its especially noticeable in Kaedes speach patterns, yes, but I find it even more notciable in shippos speach.
BTW, I just triple checked, my untranslated manga, my region 2 DVDs, and the official website, and then I checked teh kanji with my host family (they are all Japanese, of course) and the name of the character is spelled "Kikyou" beyond a shadow of a doubt.

It was Myouga, not Miroku. That is, if that source is correct, which it probably is... Anyway, I don't think the spelling of Kikyou really matters, and it may be Kikyou in Japanese, but by some Japanese romanization standards, Kikyo is acceptable.

You're right, he does bring more humor to the show. Also, that is the most unique Inuyasha avatar I've ever laid eyes on! Very cool. I think I liked it a little better when it was just Inuyasha and Kagome. Myouga wasn't a bad addition. Shippo was cool. By the time Miroku came a long I was like "Okaay, a little too much like Scooby Doo" Then Sango, and Kikyou, ahhh! Too many characters. It seems like Kagome and Inuyasha have a smaller chance of doing anything intimate with everyone else around. It's more like a team, and I don't like it that way.

I say put Miroku on a leash and let Kagome haul him around!

Cool, post the site. I haven't read the manga, so if you guys have, is it similar? I just wish Miroku and Sango would go away togethor, Myouga can go, Kikyou can get lost and Inuyasha and Kagome can get it on. Well, just show their love more. Yep.
