Well I wouldn't call myself a winner I guess I am better off than some. But things like Girlfriends and a social life are not part of my world. Anime is. I would much rather watch anime than go to a movie or a football game or a bar.

Now that's exactly what I'm talking about. :?

But sure, whatever, I don't know why I'm bothering, as though all you people are just going to up and lose your anime addiction and get on with your lives. If thats how you people wanna live, have fun dreaming of lives so much better than your own...

By addicted to anime I'm referring to the contents of this thread, much of what some have even phrased as 'addicted to anime'.

My social life? I'm not talking about anything as mild as playing video games round a mates, I go to parties hopefully once every few weeks (not recently though, back problems... :? ), going up to London for the day with friends, like the stuff Mr. Oni said he'd rather watch anime than do, y'know, a normal social life, even if it's just getting pissed and having pizza with friends...

I admit I am addicted to anime. But who wouldent be. I mean look at the world who would want to go out in somehting like that where everyone tells you to think to same. You think inside the box not out and as soon as you do you are made fun of. Online you are different you are who want to be. Thats why I love the interenet and my computer so much. I am tired with the world and what it has to offer. The promise one thing and give you another.

You sound like a scared little kid, as though the world is someone ripping the piss out of you, do you get bullied a lot or something? I'm who I want to be in front of all my friends, I'm not two faced, I'm honest with myself and I get no problems, just as I accept my friends for who they are. 'Thinking outside the box'? What the hell do you mean by that? No one tells you to think the same, it sounds like you're listing a bunch of bullshit lines from somewhere.

And you're comparing what the internet has to offer with the world? Geez, you really need some help, but hey, if you like it that way, who the fuck am I to tell you your a loser.

I know im a loser. I dont need another person telling me that. Do you think I like being alone. Having nothing to come home to but your computer. To hear your parents tell you that you need to become this. When you want to become something else? I have no say in anything I can do I am only 17. So what my parents says goes. I have no life this is my only outlet. If you actually think that anyone here loves being alone or by themselves all the time are lying. There is noway someone doesnt want to feel warm hands wrapped around them. Or someoene to share your emotiongs with. To care for you.

What are you being told to become? (sigs too big) What exactly is stopping you from living your own life the way you want to??

Heh, I had a feeling I'd be branded as some form of outsider if I failed to see anime as the peak of civilisation...

Ah, the fucking angsty teenager, well I swear, you'd hate some of the shit in my life, the difference is, from what I'm hearing, I seem to still hold my life with self worth, there are good things in my life, stuff that you probably can't be bothered to work for, feel perfectly happy to give up and watch anime....
