Screw realiy!!! I want lum and one day Lum and I will be together. Yes the odds are 1 billion billion to 1 that a temporal rift will form a time paradox and a gateway to another dimension will open and I will be with my Lum or even more so that Lum would want to be with me. But dammit I'm counting on it.

There is an ancient chinese saying, that at first sounds like a blessing, until you realize it's a curse. The saying is "May you lead an interesting life." I realized just why this was a curse when my life got interesting. But then again, some people are addicted to alcohol, some are addicted to drugs, some are a slave to their gluttony, or caffeine, or nicotine. I'm mentally addicted to chaos. When I think there's gonna be a lull in it, it comes back with gale force. Belive me, you want the stability of a normal life. You don't want to get into the chaos, 'cause you'll never get out of it.

In my book we all need anime but to those people who know nouthing of the world outside of anime I have just one thing to say YOU ARE ALL SAD PEOPLE AND YOU NEED TO GET HELP. Ok now that I done with that I go on. there a lot to reality that can me life fun. First off you meet people who will talk back with you. You discover new things. Anime is used to get away from the crap in this world that sucks. I would agree with most of you who say that anime is a better world. The only problem is that you can not live in the world so I figure let me the best of the one that we are stuck in.

Anime is my life

Postby OrbitalRain » Wed Dec 11, 2002 11:35 pm

I see anime chars as how I want my life to be. Life sucks compared to anime chars. You wake in the Morning, go to school, Listen to high school drama, Go to work then go home. Life is pointless if you live like this. Anime to me is my fantasy world. When I see Hideki talking to chii. I picture myself talking to my "chii" When she loves him back I can almost feel the emotions coming out of the screen and embracing me. Anime to me is what I should be or what I can be. That brief 22 min in front of my monitor I am Hideki. To be loved even by a computer is better than not being loved at all. I want to run faster, kick higher, fly farther, jump higher. But then again I live in reality. Anime is a gateway. A gateway to live your life the way YOU want it to be lived. Not by some system or society that tells you otherwise. People don't understand that we are individuals. They are so quick to pack us up and send us out only half complete. They still neglect one thing that all of us need. Effection...The feeling to be wanted. To fall back and to know that there is someone there to catch you. Someone to hold and whisper in your ear that everything will be ok.

Its too bad i can't just stay at home and watch my anime and the world go on with out me. It would be so nice to just sit and forget everything else in the world exists.
