Hmm, do you really believe that all shoujo contains guy on guy porn?

As I already have sad before I should have formulate the question different and just asked for good romance stories without any bishonen content.

I would recommend Angel Sanctuary and Visions of Escaflowne. Also DNAngel isn't brilliant but its cute and has a good love story, though it may be a little on the bishounen side.

Give Corrector Yui a spin. Sure the love story (Between Yui and Shun/ Haruna and what's his name) takes the back seat to the over all magical girl stuff, but it's fun, funny, and has great characters. The only problem is that Viz only released the first 18 episodes of the first season (MUST SEE LAST NINE EPISODES!!!!)

Fruits Basket is also really good, like ppl have said.

Have you tried Maharo Yugi (sp?) a.k.a MAgical Play?

Ones again, thanks for all the tips. My "want to see anime list" sure has grown thanks to all your suggestions

Aesling, actually I have been avoiding Angel Sanctuary because it looked like it was a bishonen anime from the pictures I have seen of it. Maybe I was wrong

hypes, haven't seen Magical Play yet thought I believe I have seen it in one of the AMV Hell shows. Much stars and carrots in it right? It looks pretty funny

It is a little bishounen, but almost all of the characters are angels and are supposed beautiful beyond all belief. That's my excuse, anyway

. But despite this it has a very deep and complicated plot, and I really find myself caring about the characters and wanting desperately to know WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!?!

"Shoujo" literally translates to "girl". The whole point of shoujo anime is that it's for girls. So asking for girl shows that aren't for girls is like asking for gay porn for straight men.
