Gainax's Daicon IV opening video in NYC until 7/24

Just a note for those of you in/around New York City that the Japan Society is having an exhibition of Pop Culture Art from Japan up until 7/24 curated by Takashi Murakami.

One of the highlights is the video that Gainax made for Daicon IV, which aside from helping launch Gainax back in the early 80s, also is the first and best AMV. There are also other amazing exhibits by Yoshitomo Nara, Kawashima Hideaki and Chiho Aoshima.

Try not to miss it!
