You can find boots of it on Ebay on VCD. It's a cute series. Such a typical tokusentai series though.

This has nothing to do with Saint Tail, right? Cause I've heard of that... but not Saint Seiya. Is it another name, or different series?

Nope, completely different (and much older) series. Though I'm sure there's a horrid crossover video potential there...

I've seen clips of it from some AMVs, but about the most I know about it is that it seems to involve people getting knocked off mountains a lot (from what I was told) and the first Ranma movie was apparently almost identical to one of the Saint Seiya movies.

Like I said, it's a typical tokusentai series. Each main character has a "cloth" which is the shielded armor that they wear. This gets upgraded several times throughout the series....well Seiya's does. Each cloth is based on a constellation, and the series borrows HEAVILY from all sorts of mythology, and like Eva, it mixes them all beyond comprehension so they no longer bear much resemblence to the original story. If you're really interested you can find boot VCDs on ebay.

Saint Seiya is very much an 80's boy show. Lots of grit and determination, lots of blood and fighting, and cool armor that makes for instant toy production.

Damn good show! Seen Samurai Troopers? Expect more of the same sort of hard-edged character design, in spades.

Yes, i've seen it in Mexico, it was called 'Cabelleros del Zodiaco', before it was frick cool. That was also years ago when cassette tapes reigned supreme.

I saw the spanish dub as well and yeah it is called "caballeros del zodiaco"
BTW the spanish dub was awsome , every voice of every character was good and they scream very well , lol. the spanish Dubs are great , DBZ (has the best dub) also rurouni kenshin , ranma , gundam wing , sailor moon have really cool dubs too .

the one that i Dislike is the one from Evangelion (SUCKS).

Yeah, there's a Spanish dub. I remember there was some guy having an arguement with jbone on whether or not "Asuka" was two or three syllables  Apparently, in the Spanish dub, it was pronounced "a-SU-ka," where as all other languages pronounce it "ASu-ka." The 'u' goes by quick, or something :?
