Well, this is just a suggestion for ppl who dont have any stores close to them that sell non-bootleg anime and are in USA... www.cduniverse.com, their movies section has tons of legal anime DVDs or VHS for really good prices, they even won a "Most secure, safe site" award or something

I would like to point out that if something isn't liscenced in the US at all. Naruto for example. bootleg is the only way to get it.

Actually, I've heard of people managing to get good-quality raws of unlicensed shows, but I have no idea how to go about doing so. And even if I did, we're not allowed to discuss such practices here.

but fansubs arn't bootleg (unless im confused) well i mean, at least they dun't come from the "chinese mafia" so ditch the whole ebay 90episodes on four discs thing, i mean its not like thats any better than paying someone for stealing something

You don't pay for fansubs. Nobody makes a profit there.

Bootlegs are different. Someone is out to make money.
