Region Code is hardly valid anymore with BDs. Limiting region lock isn't really enforced, I saw many region free BDs or even funi has done things region locked to regions A and B together, so it'll play on both (but not on region C bdplayers). So yeah, I'd say region codes don't really matter anymore with BDs. Still valid with DVDs, though, and to be honest I have yet to see bootlegged BDs anyway.

Blank BDs are still pretty expensive, no?

EDIT - Over $1 a piece on newegg it seems... not nearly as expensive as they used to be. Still way more than a portable HDD or even an SD card for cost/volume though.

actually I find my boot leg stuff is about the only way I can afford to view things anymore - phone Unlimited Limits are a Killer!

Oh btw, did you know that Horrible Subs is merging with an Anime Series legitimately?
