Love Hina Manga zip password

Postby Garylisk » Mon Aug 12, 2002 9:00 pm

At one point there was (Well, and still is) a website at http://lhscans.cjb.net
From there you could get the love hina manga
I have all the zips from that site backed up.
The problem is this: All the zips are password locked.
I have forgotten the password. I thought it was the website address, but I've tried it so many different ways, and I still can't get it right or remember it. Also, the website doesn't list it anymore, and I can't seem to email the address listed on the page. Probably because my ISP has become retarted lately. They're spammers. i won't get into it.

Does anyone out there know the password?

I do buy them. Don't presume things. I did not just acquire these zips. I've had them for over a year. If you don't have the password, then that's fine. I'm not here for a lecture on ethics.

was it lhscans then the volume and chapter number? I thought I remembered it to be something like that.

By the way, does anyone know a good place to read summaries or translations of the later volumes of Love Hina. I can't wait for it to all come out domestically. :D

I got it from my friend Schmoo who used to run a mirror for that site.
By the way, the password is http://lhscans.cjb.net/

I was forgetting the extra / at the end. I feel soooo stupid :P

That wasn't a lecture, just a suggestion. I'm sure you know just as well that a lot of people don't.

I'm glad to hear that you do buy them. :) That's all.

Yeah well, I love collecting fan translations of anything. I'm not just an anime fan.. I'm a fan in general.. As well as soemone who has an interest in linguistics.
I especially like getting the original japanese manga and a fantranslation, and then comparing the two. It's a good way to learn, and it's a good way to understand how the translator thinks. :)

=_= I dunno, but I usually unzip stuff and rezip later "unencrypted" if it actually needs the compression.
