Kid's Story from Animatrix which you love so much was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe. The Wachowski brothers picked someone like him because he directed Cowboy Bebop.Foristality wrote:I didn't watch cowboy bebop yet, because it was made a generation ago.

you could say that for every anime.

An anime that makes sense
THUS, my suggestion still stands...GHOST IN THE SHELL.
But I haven't really taken a look at the other suggestions, so I can't say much else. You could also try FLAG?

I recommend you... Gungrave, Gundam 00, Ghost in the Shell, Speed Grapher, and Moonlight Mile.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed & Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny
- all of your questions get answered by the end of Destiny (so your not left confused by anything)
- well rounded characters & the development of characters
- friendship & romance are both present and balanced
- the difference between right and wrong is seen between each character and the story
One of the first anime's I have watched and its still my all time favourite. If I had to pick one show to watch for the rest of my life, it would be this. It is a bit older compared to the new series that are out but worth the watch. It is even being remastered in Blueray finally *o*
