Winter 2011-2012 Anime List

Postby UpcomingDread » Sat Oct 29, 2011 9:08 pm

I know it's pretty early still but what are you looking forward to?
For me:

Kyousogiga trailer
Black Rock Shooter trailer

Seem like they might turn out alright; I'll watch stuff like the Kenshin movie when it comes out too.

I was thinking the same thing. Though if it is legit, Nisemonogatori looks interesting.

FINALLY! A POSTER THAT ISN'T A SLUT!!!! (look at the previous posters and tell me that you didn't just read a hentai manga)

I find most of these story plots pretty interesting. I think that BLACK ROCK SHOOTER might be a little disappointing, though. But definitely AMV material. YES
Another: Hmm...for some reson it reminds me of Ef...YES :book:
Ano Natsu de Matteru: Romantic comedy, eh? I haven't seen a good one in a while. Why not? YES
Brave10: Looks promising! I expect to see some really intricate battle sequences. YES

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2: Okay, when i said this out loud, i thought i just said something inappropriate. NO
Baby, Please Kill Me!: Sure. NO
Gokujyo: If i wanna watch hentai, i'll just go TO THIS AWESOME SITE NO

Probably watch...

Moretsu Pirates: Pirates with guns = Something good
Kyousogiga: I got a weird feeling about it.
BRS: I just want to know what the heck is going on.
Nisemonogatari: Sequel to Bakemonogatari.
Recorder to Randoseru: Gotta watch at least the first episode.

Plan to watch:
Black Rock Shooter [Please, please be better than the trailer looks...and un-destroy Dead master's design]
Nisemonogatari [Against all my better judgement]
Rurouni Kenshin [I look forward to Aniplex releasing this in the states for some ridiculous price...]

Maybe watch:
Mouretsu Pirates

Now that BRS has me worried, there's nothing this season that is "OMG HAVE TO WATCH" like I had so much of this season. Promising stuff though.

BERSERK!!!! this alone makes this season worth watching (provided it isn't a dissapointment).

other than that the last Zero no Tsuikaima series is the only one that I know i'll be watching (just for some closure), ah, nm also Nisemongatari if it is anything like the first series.

Anyone know if the new PoT series follows the actual manga in any way? (never read the manga myself) I loved the original prince of tennis anime but the OVA's and movies were pretty bad (you know they are out of source material when they go DBZ in a tennis match). If this new series is just a bunch of filler to try and snag the original fans back I'm skipping.

WTF, a dragon age anime, is that for realz?

Moretsu Pirates...

The description of this sounds hilarious. I just reeeally hope they don't screw it up with fanservice and the like. I hope it's more like Captain Tylor x Queen Emeraldis...with a helping of possibly Nichijou....

That would be amazing.
