A Trigun movie? I'd camp out in Hollywood for half a year waiting for the premiere of that one. Otherwise, tv series and OAVs wouldn't generally make a good conversion to a movie, but anime movies to live action movies might not be so bad. An Akira remake, anyone?
And let's not forget that they've also already made a live action Wicked City, The Guyver, Dog of Flanders, Uzumaki, Sanctuary, and are planning one for Ninja Scroll.

I have a feeling both Trigun, and I may get flamed for this
....Cowboy Bebop could be done right....only if it was done by someone who knows the series well here in the states and is a striaght up purist bastard about keeping it real.
A DBZ movie is just too stupid, but whose to say
If a fan of the show made a script to the exact, or just about exact premise of the manga or anime, then it may work, and I think in the case of Trigun maybe, and most definately Bebop, sequels, like star wars before it got really messed up, break it down into two hour episodes. That's how i see Cowboy Bebop, like a minimum of 3 to 5 movies or sessions to tell the story right.
Ah My Goddess you can do in like 1, and Golden Boy, that would be interesting to see. Well, just my thoughts on it
