Actually... without going into too much detail...

Lillith... the 2nd Bride that was made for Adam was a woman made the same way as Adam. She had he own sense of self and her own desires and thus didn't always want to be with Adam... and this didn't set well with Adam and so God booted Lillith from Eden where she would eventually marry Cain and become the mother of demons... which just shows how anti-women the old religious sayers were...

Eve was mde from Adam's rib and was subservient to Adam... which suited Adam fine... see what I mean...


Anyway...

2nd Bride - Lillith - Strong sense of Self, had own agenda

3rd Bride - Eve - Docile and Subservient



2nd Child - Asuka - Strong willed, strong sense of self.

3rd Child - Shinji - Docile and subservient.
