Sony Vegas Lagarith vs Xvid position problem

Postby HalOfBorg » Mon Jun 08, 2009 11:17 am

I am having a weird problem that I have never seen before.

I have a 720x480 bitmap that I have put in the timeline to add a smiling mouth, but the rendered position does not match the preview position.

I have used this MANY time before - in fact many of the items in this part of the timeline are done the same thing - but it are working fine.

The top two items both are shifted slightly to my left. Does not matter what track they are on

The TOP preview render was done in XVID, the lower one LAGARITH. Both set to 720x480p.

I'm sure I have SOMETHING set wrong somewhere, just not sure what/where.

HELP!!!!!!!

It looks like the Pixel Aspect Ratio is being changed, which may have something to do with it. Make sure you're keeping the PAR consistent with every clip throughout the project.

Yep - that's what it was. My Xvid settings were at 0.90901, while Lagarith was at 1.2121

Something must have gotten bumped somehow.

Thanks! :P
