Vegas Problem: Freezing

Postby OurRebellion » Sat Mar 14, 2009 11:00 pm

So, I start up mah Vegas 8, and import 12 episodes of this anime, roughly 2 gigabytes of footage, and start editing. However, once in the timeline, Vegas lags terribly to the point where it's useless trying to edit these clips. It stops responding when you try to preview the clips, move them, or even remove them! Any help?

They're all AVI files, dimensions 1280x720. Help please!

I don't see anything mentioning compression. It's an AVI file (though, that was mentioned on the first post).

Or you can just go to the folder that contains your clips and do it from there. Thats what I meant the first time.
