Postby JohnyLion » Thu Aug 21, 2008 4:31 pm

I just rendered a Avi. AMV in vegas that is 2.40 min long and the file is 500mb O_O

How do you guys render without losing quality but small files?

Render to uncompressed, (which will usually be 800Megs-1.20 GB+) Then use virtualDubMod or ZarxGUI to compress to either Xvid avi or MP4.

Also... don't forget to compress your audio if you are not already doing so. A .WAV file can add over 30MB to a video.

The final video is 100MB?

For a <3:00 video you should be around 20-30mb at most.
