Vegas 7 Effects.

Postby t.r.e.f » Fri Jun 27, 2008 2:05 pm

Ok, I'm about to start making a new AMV in Sony Vegas, but I'll need to know two thinks first ...

1.Can I add "flicker" and "shakiness" effects into video in Sony Vegas 7 ? WMM has effect pack for those, and it would be a little lame if far more superior program lacks those.

2.Can Vegas detect drums (or any other louder noise) in songs, and add black flash to video whenever there is drum ? Think that would make AMV a lot cooler ...

Thanks, and sorry if this has been asked before ...

1. Yes, Vegas can do that. You could either create it yourself using the pan/crop tool. Or you could add a "jitter" effect, but it doesn't look as nice, and you can't really customize it.

2.Do you mean like Vegas having peaks? Yes, it does have peaks, no it doesn't add flashes for you automatically. You have to split the clip where you want the flash, and the flash is under Transition>Dissolve>Fade through black

1. With tweaking the "old timey movie filters" you can add jitter and flicker that way.

2. black flashes on every drum beat? *shudder*
