Rendering AVI on SV 8 Pro

Postby Chaos Paladin » Sun Jan 20, 2008 4:47 pm

I'm pretty sure its not here but I don't post often so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place @_@

On Sony Vegas 8 Pro I imported AVI media for an AMV and I went to "render as". Every time I did "render as" even with other videos without AVI it would always have a problem. I tweaked the render settings twice and both times it worked. But other times the final file only played the parts of the video that aren't AVI. For the AVI clips they were just left as a black screen. I would really appreciate it if someone could help because I don't want all the work I put into the video to go to waste. T_T

Yes, pretty much.. since you won't be able to just convert your whole.. episodes or clips or whatever..cause it'll be to big. So yah, if you didn't know the banner is a link....yeh.

*Looks at 4 full DVDs transcoded to HuffYUV on one of my harddrives* I wouldn't make such generalities.

500GB HDDs are selling for around $120 nowadays. Big files are becoming less of an issue.
