Vegas 6.0 Importing Issues

Postby Penny Dreadful » Sun Sep 09, 2007 10:06 pm

All right, after using cheap free programs, I finally got myself Sony Vegas. Of course, since I'm just that awesome... it's only 6.0... Anyway, as luck would have it, I got stuck right off the bat.

When I import media (.avi files), no image is generated. Predictably, when I open it in the "Trimmer", no images or even video is there either. I can hear the audio when I play the clip, but that certainly doesn't do me much good. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? I sort of assumed the program supported .avi files...
