Postby nevada11 » Mon Jul 09, 2007 11:07 am

My Vegas application won't open, its stuck at audio engine. This has never happened to me before. My computer is now wireless, but that shouldn't have changed anything. I dont know whats going on

well, if its stuck at audio engine, you might have an audio problem! (shocker)

reinstall, if not, seriously try to update your audio drivers, or "rollback" to a version that works.

Of course, you'd be better off posting this on a dedicated vegas forum.

are you opening a file or are you just trying to open vegas with no file...

if youre trying to open a project file it might have been corrupted and you will have to just restart that project

O.o but if its just vegas itself then you might have to reinstall

If i'm not mistaking. DirectX is what allows you to preview the video while making.

I dunno about this, but if you look in Options (Or Prefernces) there's an option that allows you to skip past the opening sequence and into the main editing interface. It still takes a while, but hopefully it might help.
