Sony Vegas 6.0d - Playback is Slow and Glitchy

Post by RIPmyprsoul » Sun Feb 04, 2007 12:36 pm

I's so annoying, any format of clip I put in the video track it has gaps in playback. Especially when I add in effects, transitions, and etc. Is there anyway to fix this?

Are you trying to put in clips that are encoded with DivX or XviD on your timeline?

No I'm putting in clips with AVI format and MPG Format (Because I have the MPEG 1/2 MainConcept Codec)

Are you sure it's not just preview lag? This happens with every video editor; are you just letting the video play or are you building a dynamic RAM preview first?

Drag a loop around the portion of the video you want to preview and press Shift-B. If you want to be able to preview more of your video, go to Options>Preferences>Video and make the Dynamic RAM Preview max (MB) number higher.
