I would want to guess that it's your export settings. Make sure all export settings are the same as your project settings.
... yea ...

Great tutorial...
This will really help me if ever i plan on making an AMV
ALthough...
Does Sony Vegas run mkv files?
If not could you kindly suggest some good reencoders that will make it work?

Download the AMVapp From that link and then use Vdubmod to convert the MKV files. Oh and use DVDs in the future

Ok I kinda fixed my last problem with the blurred border,it took out the moving edges for me :D

btw is there any effect in Vegas that allows you turn a picture into an alpha image?(white shape, black background?)

something like 1:48 here

http://youtube.com/watch?v=eNgd8Epi6UA

but instead I want all of Kimimaro to be white and the yellowish tingey background to be black

you can mask out the image you want, then change the contrast till it turns either black or white, or you can copy/paste the mask onto a media generator

i believe there are a few differences, but the ability to work in HD is one of the main differences...

as far as amvs go there isn't much of a difference

I'm not sure why that is either. I tried going there a few months back and I got the same thing.

Anyway, since I'm here, I'll ask this: How do I move stuff in several layers simultaneously? I'm going to add some audio before the beginning and I decided to do this just recently and I've already put some of my footage into a timeline and this took some time just to get in and sync.

Right Click>Open in Trimmer> Put markerts around the section you want to cut out>Double-Click> Draw to the timeline.
