if you search through the forums you will find an abundance of people asking the same thing, the solution (besides using dvd footage) is to re-encode your footage (preferably with a lossless codec like Lagarith)
BEWARE! lossless means relatively large files, you should take small clips and re-encode those (as opposed to entire episodes)

Yeah i just noticed that as i was looking through the whole topic, thanks anyways but i ran into another problem... i cant see how to save it into a wmv file or some kind of file or seomthing
