custom transition making?
say I want to do a transition of glass breaking and falling, how do I make a transition that does that, kinda like a gradient wipe, but animated?

If you're working in Vegas, my best bet would be you could have individual glass shards masked and that way you can control how each one falls. It's a bit painstaking since I attempted something similar a few months back. As for After Effects, I'm not sure but I think there more than likely is a default effect like that.
