Sony Vegas 9

Postby LeX » Fri Sep 17, 2010 2:59 pm

Yeah i just want to know how to make that, like in sv 8 the pics previews if you import a empisode there are always pics and in sv 9 there are only 3 ''preview pics''.

How to make the same shit in sv 9 like in sv 8?

You lost me at 'importing empisodes' because afaik you cannot just drop a full empisode and expect the program to cut it for you like in WMM. In Vegas you import clips. The only thing I can figure is you're speaking of the project trimmer, which when media is imported into you will get multiple preview pictures and can trim from there. So perhaps you are speaking of version 8's trimmer?

Other than that the only thing that makes sense for what you're asking is exactly what Nya said. Once you put a clip onto the timeline of SV the amount of preview pictures you see will depend on the settings of your horizontal zoom bar. The further you zoom in, the more frames you will see. Zoom out and you will see less.

Options > Preferences

Click the tab marked "video".

Set "Thumbnails to show in video events" to "All".

Problem solved.

Yeah, the 'problem' is the way a clip looks in the timeline. By default SV9 only shows 3 frames - 1st, middle, last (as I recall from trying it, still use 8)
