So basically, with that account and that address, YouTube is saying that ALL copyright infringements that happen on their site fall under the DMCA?

personally i think its a scare tactic more than anything... either way its gone off topic... yes its the anime companies complaining = the videos get taken down weather its "DMCA" or not (why are we arguing semantics?)

but on a related note: with the way the tube site works people are spreading rumors that its a "select group of supposedly racist asians claiming that only asians should watch anime..." so they are supposedly going around reporting videos with anime in them... which i think though remotely possible, not very plausible...

youtube wasnt made for anime episodes, AMVs, Fanvideos, Television clips/full shows, ect.

it was however made for home videos, and people who would like to share those home videos.
