Hey I like this tutorial but I got a problem. When I want to open a file in the VirtualDubMod i get this message:
[!] Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown).
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to
decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media
Player, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this
video.
Somebody who can help???

I think that means you don't have the Xvid codec installed.LadyJ07 wrote:Hey I like this tutorial but I got a problem. When I want to open a file in the VirtualDubMod i get this message:

Re: flashes
From my little experience there are two ways.If they are wrong, experienced people, please share your knowledge even though we're are pushing your patience to the limit.pimpskater512 wrote:how do i insert flashes
Anyway, either insert in a separate video track a white/black image and synch it with the point of the vid you want to flash.Don't forget, limit the duration of the image to minimum.Basically, that's what a person above said...correct me if I am wrong
As for other way, yesterday,I tried using a very quick soft flash transition to make a flash and it worked.
