That's the last day you can fix your vid's details and stuff to make sure they're elligible, the vid has to be released in '08

If you released any videos during 2008, they are most likely eligible for entry in the VCAs. Please head over to the Eligibility Page to make sure you're not disqualified!
The deadline for clearing up eligibility issues is February 26, 2009. If you're not cleared by then, then you will not be able to participate this year – so don't forget to make your fixes!
The Feb 26 deadline just means that you've gone to the qualification page and sorted out any eligibility issues and put yourself into the contest. It doesn't mean videos made between Jan 1st, 2008 - Feb 26th, 2009 are eligible. This is how the VCA's have been done for the past like... what, 7-8 years now? Goddamn I've been here too long ;_;
