Very creative + the right mood for this category.

+1

Even though I don't think that it's really horror (voting Macabre Serenade for this category would equal trolling btw, just so you know...) I still think that Beo's video wouldn't fit anywhere else any better. So yeah it would be ok to win horror, it's just not scary at all.

+1

I was disappointed by the effects but I still think that this fan trailer is actually more scary than the movie was. The movie is really bad.

+1

This one has a very very disturbing bunch of scenes right there, the ending and sometimes sloppy effects are giving the atmosphere troubles at times but apart from that it would deserve the win.

And now as much as I hate self-pimping but really you guys told me you would vote for it back when I announced it so this will be the only video that I'll self-pimp cause I really really feel that it belongs:

That's a pretty cool vid and I like it myself, but honestly, voting it for best horror would be trolling, imho...

Wait, where was the horror?

Great Video indeed, but doesn't quite fit into this category IMO.

I X all of these.

Seriously one of the best horror videos I've ever seen. Perfect storytelling and great editing. The buildup made the incredible payoff at the end totally worth the wait. Actually succeeded in making me jump at least once.

My favourites in this category from last year. Must vote for them :amv:

Is it just a feeling or are there better videos for this category this year than last one?

King Beowulf versus Ingow awesomeness is what 'tis about.

Does that mean any of the other videos mentioned actually scare you? :o

hardly anything scares me anymore considering how much of a horror flick geek I've become but because of that and because I'm an enthusiastic Lovecraft reader I asure you that I can still tell when something at least tries to build up a good disturbing atmosphere that at least could be seen as scary. It's more of a scary atmosphere/mood thing than scary in the sense of actually making you afraid.

Having said that MY VIDEO TOTALLY MAKES PEOPLE AFRAID WHEN THEY WATCH IT AT MIDNIGHT THOUGH :amv:

To me Horror is the "Weird" or "Unexplainable" not necesarily scary stuff, ghosts, vampires.. etc...

I'd go for this one. This amv isn't really scary at all but its just so weird and freaky.

But it probably won't win, it will be in same suite as D!gital me which clearly deserved last years horror award.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
